Privacy Policy

Vineyard & Winery Management (“VWM”) is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. VWM may collect information in several ways from different parts of our network of Web sites. VWM may ask you for personal information at times, including (but not limited to) when you enter a competition or promotion sponsored by VWM; when you register for one of VWM’s conferences of educational programs and when you report a problem with one of our sites. VWM also occasionally asks users to complete surveys that we use for internal research. Wherever VWM collects personal information we make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy on that page.

VWM may utilize cookies to store and sometimes track your information. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and may be stored on your computer’s hard drive. VWM may utilize cookies to:

  • To estimate our audience size. Each browser accessing VWM may be given a cookie that is then used to determine the extent of repeat usage and determine on an aggregate basis, which features of VWM are used. In order to gather these aggregate data, VWM may use cookies served by third parties;


  • Measure certain traffic patterns; track the areas of VWM’s network of Web sites you have visited, track the Web site through which you came to VWM and your visiting patterns in the aggregate. We use this research to understand how our users' habits are similar or different from one another so that we can make each new experience on VWM a better one. We may use this information to better personalize the content, banners, and promotions that you and other users will see on our sites


  • VWM also collects IP addresses for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers



    • Please remember, when you are on a VWM site and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information for use by VWM alone, unless it is specifically stated otherwise.

    VWM attempts in every way to adhere to the guidelines and best practices set forth by the Direct Marketing Association of America (DMA) concerning its customers privacy and marketing to those customers.

    Customers should know that trade show attendee lists are available to vendors for purchase regarding that particular event.

    If you wish to be removed from a third-party's list, please contact that party directly (contact info should be on their promotional material) and ask to be removed. We cannot control third-party practices however we encourage third-parties to be in adherence with DMA guidelines and best practices.

    If you wish to be removed from VWM's promotional event mailings, click this link and indicate "remove me from your mailing list". You will no longer receive any promotional material of any kind from VWM.
